JBS Terminals Announces Hapag-Lloyd Service with Route to Africa – (SAT Service)

JBS Terminals is now offering the South America – Africa – Triangle Service (SAT Service) from the German carrier company Hapag-Lloyd. Transfering this service from Navegantes to Itajaí, JBS Terminals will exclusively operate this line in Santa Catarina. The first berthing is scheduled for the first half of October 2024, with weekly schedules.

In South America, the service includes schedules at three Brazilian ports: Itajaí, Paranaguá, and Santos. In Africa, the line calls at the ports of Luanda (Angola) and Durban (South Africa).

The SAT line primarily exports frozen meats, paints, and paper, while imports minerals, chemicals, and iron.
